Since posting this note in November of last year, two more friends have decided to step out in faith. They have given up their corporate identities to be true to themselves and to honour their unique passions for life – on their own terms. Their decisions were based on faith, sprinkled with lots of prayer and praise. So what do you do when your faith is fearful? You suck it up, and go out and take possession of your land. It can be done!
Recently I met up with my good friend Allison for dinner. I hadn’t seen her in a while and so we updated each other on our families and careers.
Allison had resigned her well-paying, prestigious, high-profile job to work on her own. I was surprised but things at the office had been going downhill for some time she explained, adding that it became a matter of integrity as lies were told and grey shadows of doubt cast upon her work.
