In Barbados, Life is for Living

Nathan bought himself a camera.  A Nikon something something that wasn’t cheap.  He saved for a whole  year to buy it so we stopped to take a few photos one Saturday morning in between errands.  Here are my shots (I’m  yet to see his) taken in St. James with my 5 year old Olympus Stylus 1010.  Lots of room for improvement but I’m hoping you can see the sky was blue, the sea was a bluer blue and the view from our standpoint was amazing.

This exercise taught me that no matter what, we have much to be thankful for even if it’s only the fact that we live in such a beautiful place.  And then there’s the bigger thank you; the one that is grateful for the opportunity to spend a little quality time with my son.

Thank you Jesus!  In Barbados, life is definitely for living 🙂

It's a beautiful day
It really was a beautiful day
View from a hill

Sailing down the west coast

Going further out to sea
Going further out to sea
Just before going out of sight
Just before going out of sight
I'll bet no-one can see me
I’ll bet no-one can see me out here chillaxing in the sun
