Words … Stories … Life

Why do I write, or better still why do I blog? Really good questions posed by Blogging 201 which made me pause and take a step back as I tried to formulate intelligent answers.  After a while however, I came back to what I noted on my “About” page when I first started this blog in July of 2012: “Welcome to the Living Life Day by Day blog, created to offer hope (especially on those days when life seems hopeless) and wrapped in the wonderful promises of God.”

So apart from the fact that my brain is overwhelmed with words all scrambling to get out of my head and into the world,  I write because life happens to us all and if I can share something from my life story that will make an impact on someone else’s life (no matter how small) then this blog would have served its purpose – one post at a time.

But now that I’m doubly sure why I write, what about my goals???  Yikes!!!  How can a girl not have goals or objectives or know where she is going?  Here are some initial thoughts for the remainder of 2014:

  • Post at least 3 to 4 times a week
  • Maintain minimum views of 1000 per month
  • Be brave and invite guest bloggers
  • Be more visually engaging – more photos and videos
  • Spend 2 to 3 hours a week visiting and commenting on other blogs
  • Do something totally different e.g. participate in a photo, writing or other challenge

How am I doing so far?  Am I on the right track? Willing to support me?  Let me know by leaving a comment, but please say ‘yes’!  Would love to have you walking this journey with me 🙂
