It is the mark of a truly intelligent person to be moved by statistics.”
One of my managers has a saying: “The numbers are the numbers!” Sometimes I agree, sometimes I disagree – because a number may not necessarily reflect the amount of effort or time which has gone into a project or executing an event or even providing customer support.
And so I admit that even though I felt my stats left a lot to be desired when compared with other more awesome blogs during the year, my heart felt a wee bit happier in seeing the progression from 571 views in 2012 to 16515 in 2014.
I honestly can’t wait to experience 1000 views in any one day (or even one week for that matter); it would definitely be party time because we all want our words to reach out and touch as many people as possible. In reality, this is not always the case but until then I will look towards 2015 and continue to share with whoever passes by … I hope it will be you 🙂

I love the WordPress.com stats helper monkeys who prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog. I’m inviting you to take a quick look.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 16,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Hmm… couldn’t access the report – said it wasn’t public 😦

What??!!! That’s so not cool but I admit to not being a WordPress techie in any form or fashion. Here’s the link – hope it works (but please let me know in case I have to ask the WordPress team for help). Happy new year!
