“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.” Deuteronomy 28:12 (NIV)

It’s that time …
We usually take a long hard look at ourselves and our lives at the beginning of a new year. January 01 rolls around and out come the planners, journals or online schedulers to be filled with our resolutions for the next 12 months. However, some of us find it hard to get started. We are filled with regret for dreams shelved not to be realised, depressed due to being out of work or having lost a loved one, wondering how we will pay our educational/medical bills, or just trying to stay afloat for one more day.
On the other side of this coin are those of us who know that no matter what life may look like right now, there is the ever present knowledge that ‘this too shall pass”! Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, lasts forever; the good times come and go (kind of unfortunate but it’s a fact), and so will the bad times. Life is circle folks and you are either up on the top or down at the bottom BUT the circle will turn! Click to tweet
The future is bright
As we look out to 2015 with hopes for renewal, reinvention and ground-breaking awesome change in our lives, let us hold on to these facts:
- where there is life there is hope
- where there is friendship and family there is love
- where there is God there is peace
May this year be even more than you could ever possibly wish it to be … the rains of prosperity are coming 🙂
