One Hot Chick
It’s normal in life so I’m told
To journey from young into old
Where hot flashes reign
With ointments for pain …
Still sweet, sexy, saucy – with soul!

The above is my submission for the Writing 201: Poetry – see guidelines below.
Your prompt: journey | Today’s form: limerick | Today’s device: alliteration
NB: Found it very hard to include all of the required elements but in the end, was pleased with the result 😀
G’day again Galeweithers,
That is so clever, I do so love a good giggle and you have certainly given me that, thank you

Your poem has an surprise right out the gate. Hot Chicks makes you think one way but the surprise is it isn’t what your first thought is. You did a great job. Blessings.

Beautiful.
It tells of life’span journey
The older one get, the more the pain;physical, emotional etc and as you rightly put it, there is always ‘ointment for the pain’
I love the flow.

Glad you liked it and yes, I actually do have lots of ointment (as I labor through the flashes – lol). Thanks for visiting and commenting.
