WordPress Photo Challenge: Enveloped in love

The challenge: “What does “enveloped” mean to you? It could be your post-bath toddler wrapped burrito-style in a huge fuzzy towel. How about the ever-present fog that meanders through your city? Is it the well-loved hammock you lie in devouring novels as if they were candy? Maybe it’s your favorite fluffy comforter, edges worn from love and use?”

My friend is getting married next month and hand-made all of her invitations.  Loved the calligraphy on the envelope but loved the invite on the inside even more, especially since I was aware of the great effort that went into sourcing materials and then putting each invite together; she was truly enveloped in the project.

From looking at the envelope alone, you knew this art was crafted from the heart and indicative of the pending joy which will result from these two people being joined as one.  I’m sure everyone who attends the ceremony will be enveloped in their love … will keep you posted ♥   ♥   ♥

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”
