Wednesday’s Words: Can you see the staircase?

For me, faith is seeing a plant not only growing out of a cement sidewalk, but producing beautiful flowers too! I don’t know how they do it, yet ever so often we see sweet petals swaying gently along a sidewalk or beside a rock (with no soil or nutrients in sight). It’s like a miracle almost.

But do you have faith? Can you see your dreams becoming reality in spite of the odds? Yes it’s hard but I believe that if a tiny little flower can have faith that God will provide the elements needed to make it grow and blossom, then so can you. So today, release the lies the devil is using to distract you from seeing the bigger picture and let’s step out in faith; it can be done 😀

“God has already done everything He’s going to do. The ball is now in your court. If you want success, if you want wisdom, if you want to be prosperous and healthy, you’re going to have to do more than meditate and believe; you must boldly declare words of faith and victory over yourself and your family.” Joel Osteen

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Martin Luther King, Jr.

“To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.” Thomas Aquinas

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)

“And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.” Hebrews 11:11 (NIV)
