In memory of Dr Wayne Dyer: 10 quotes to note

Dr Wayne Dyer

Dr Wayne Dyer | 1940 – 2015

Dr Wayne Dyer  died on 29 August 2015, leaving behind the memory of a truly awesome individual who remained humble while sharing his life and learnings with thousands of people worldwide.

Although he is no longer with us physically his words and wisdom will never die; that’s why I am sharing 10 of his quotes (albeit my favorite ones) with you, not only to remember but to more importantly live by.

  1. Maxim for life: You get treated in life the way you teach people to treat you.

  2. The last suit that you wear, you don’t need any pockets.

  3. Remain humble and grateful for all your accomplishments, and know that a force greater than your ego is always at work in your life.

  4. Love is the ability and willingness to allow those that you care for to be what they choose for themselves without any insistence that they satisfy you.

  5. You are important enough to ask and you are blessed enough to receive back.

  6. Conflict cannot survive without your participation.

  7. Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul.

  8. The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don’t know anything about.

  9. It makes no sense to worry about things you have no control over because there’s nothing you can do about them, and why worry about things you do control? The activity of worrying keeps you immobilized.

  10. Live one day at a time emphasizing ethics rather than rules.

It is still possible to be inspired by Dr Dyer’s daily affirmations and let’s not forget to share the love; someone somewhere always needs a hug 🙂
