Optimism is the Faith that Leads to Achievement

“Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A world of optimism and hope. A ‘you can do it’ when things are tough.” ~ Richard M. DeVos

This week we were told via the WordPress Photo Challenge: “This week show us something you’re optimistic about, or perhaps a talisman that helps you stay positive and hopeful, regardless of what life (and the weather!) throws your way.”

And so for starters, I am optimistic that I can harvest lemons just as juicy and large as my neighbours after planting a few seeds.  Secondly, I am also optimistic that if I drink enough spinach smoothies and eat enough salad, my scale will finally be my friend.

Wish me luck by leaving an encouragement comment and thanks for visiting!

  1. It must be wonderful to walk into your yard and gather lemons. Having lemons in my water is a daily routine, even though they are store bought. If you continue to drink the smoothie and eat healthy – as well as feel as if you are at the weight you want to be – you will succeed. Take it one day at a time and you will reach your goals. Love and Light!

  2. Lemons is an essential element for me throughout the year. Here in India, we use lemon while eating rice, sandwiches, chicken rolls, and what not 😀

Optimism is indeed that force which drives us forward, providing encouragement and inspiration. 🙂

    P.S. Loved your pictures… 🙂

    1. Am glad you loved the pics and I am so intrigued with your blog but this could be due to the fact that I have never visited India. Hopefully one day soon but until then I will enjoy your words and photos 🙂
