“Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.”
Omar Khayyam
The now, this present moment, is difficult. Burying someone you love is never easy.
But here I am in Trinidad visiting and supporting my cousin as we lay her husband to rest. He was a good man who loved the Lord and will be missed. Yet, the time we have been able to spend together as a family is amazing as many of us come together – after lots of years apart – for this sad event.
Christmas like every other season comes whether we are alive or dead, happy or sad, alone or with others. My advice? Let’s make every effort to enjoy every single moment of every single day, because only the NOW in life is a given. Hope you’ll agree 🙂
