Today is International Women’s Day and for months I struggled to decide on the exact message I wanted to share. How could I inspire women, encourage them to be bolder, stronger, even happier?  I suffered from word paralysis.

Then I came across this touching post on Serendipitydodah entitled “Love Is Very Much Like Courage” written by Meredith Indermaur. Now I have too many words but her’s are most powerful of all, not only as a mom but as a Christian mom having to go out there and find the courage to love – selflessly and unconditionally. You may have to read it more than once but that’s about all I’m going to say (I personally hate spoilers).

To all women, let us be feminine while being fierce and fearless. Let us uplift other women while walking equally with men. Let us be the example of leadership the world continues to look for especially today and may our light shine brightest when life is at its darkest.

Happy International Women’s Day … go out and celebrate with another amazingly awesome woman – because you can 🙂

We don’t have to be mentally ill or over weight or old to be trying to make our lives better. We can have regrets but still get by – yes? Of course yes! We just have to be the most authentic version of ourselves. Continue reading The Time I Was Crowned A ‘Phenomenal Woman’ – A Podcast Interview

What do you do when things aren’t working out?

Here’s a question to start out the second last week of the year: “What do you do when things aren’t working out?”

For most of us, our answers might include ranting and raving, blowing off steam, crying and whining, complaining to everyone who is willing to listen … and if all of that does not work then we just might turn to God.

However, according to these beautiful, young, super cute and faithful servants of a wonderful Father, there is only ONE answer to the question.  So let’s take the cue from Dani and Dannah … and call Jesus! He will never ever fail us!
