Marvellous Monday :)

Aren’t my flowers gorgeous? My garden seems to be in overdrive but I’m definitely not complaining. So how’s your Summer going? Tell  me, and here’s wishing everyone a truly great week; let’s start by smelling a pretty flower or two or three every single morning!

“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.”
~ Mother Teresa

“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.”
~ Luther Burbank

“You’re only here for a short visit. Don’t hurry, don’t worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.”
~ Walter Hagen

The Pure White of my Garden

White.  Is it really a colour? Am not 100% sure but think it’s the best example of purity there is in nature (after clear clean flowing water) and the flowers in my garden definitely seem to agree!

But what do you think of when you hear the word pure? And if you are participating in this week’s WordPress ‘Pure’ Photo Challenge please leave a link to your post in the comments so we can come visit you 🙂

Thankful Thursday: nature is awesome!

The flowers are loving the recent rains and I am thankful for their awesome beauty – in my very own garden. What are you thankful for today? While you think on that, take some time out and smell a flower 🙂
