Nature’s Warm Christmas Glow

In Barbados one of the first signs of Christmas is the appearance of a golden flower we call the “Christmas Candle”. Not sure if this is the real botanical name but the bright yellow bulbs radiate the wonderful warmth of the season all across our country, compliments of nature. The bush in this photo is right next door to us and no matter how low our neighbour trims it, the candles come back in full force every November/December. Simply beautiful and my WordPress Photo Challenge submission for: warmth 🙂

“Just living is not enough… one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.” Hans Christian Andersen

Some days can be truly amazing

“I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”
