Does God Answer Prayers?

Sometimes life can get so hard we wonder if God is really hearing us. We pray and pray and pray, yet nothing changes. Maybe that’s why this message by Jon Jorgenson (creator of the AnimaSeries videos) made so much sense. Take a look; then tell me what you think. Someone you know who’s praying but still waiting for an answer? Don’t delay but remind them that God is not sleeping by sharing this post … and thanks as always for visiting.

The REAL Question

“Hear my prayer, Lord; let my cry for help come to you. Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress. Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.”
Psalm 102: 1-2 (NIV)

We pray and pray and pray. Yet sometimes it feels as though God has forgotten us or maybe He’s so busy answering the prayers of others we are way at the bottom of His to do list. But after watching this video I realise that God does answer our prayers and the real question is not “When will you answer my prayer Lord?” but “Whose prayers do you want me to answer Lord?” Something to think about – on Valentine’s Day. Thanks for visiting 🙂

“It is only when we have nothing that we truly begin to realise that God is everything.” ~ Jon Jorgenson

Perfectly Imperfect … And Loving The Journey

“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.”  Philippians 3:12-15 (ESV)

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 100 times: “I am not perfect!” How could I be? Half of the time I’m barely managing to juggle the various balls in my life while the other half finds me scrambling to pick up the balls that have fallen.
