I’ve just returned from an amazing trip to Dubai (stay tuned for future posts!!!) – the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf, Dubai is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the country.
There’s lots and lots to tell you about Dubai but I wanted to take the opportunity to share the magic of the Dubai Fountains which are timed to energetically “dance” to the beat of beautiful cultural music.
People wait in large crowds just to witness the show – and there is different music for each “performance” – but you get to sit back and enjoy just over 60 seconds of liquid lines of gold, moving against an awesome city skyline.

Took this photo on a recent trip to Grenada, when I could not resist capturing the sunlight’s glow quietly kissing these brilliant reds and greens in the late afternoon. And all I could think of was this: “Isn’t God’s nature simply amazing?”
It was so amazing my friend had to take a few photos too, but what examples do you have of His glowing touch upon the earth? Leave a link to your blog in the comments so the love can be shared and in the meantime, keep on glowing 🙂

I visited New York City for the first time in July and made sure visiting the Empire State Building was on my NYC bucket list. Although it was a kind of foggy-ish yet sunny day, suffice to say the views were amazing and you really appreciated the scale of the buildings when seen from such a different perspective.
Guess that’s why it’s good to apply such experiences to our life in general, meaning how you see a situation as being positive or negative will depend on whether you are looking up or looking down. Something to think about 🙂
