Never ever ever lie to your mom … like … never

I could never lie right. Something on my face would let my mom know that the words coming from my mouth were not true. Besides, I had a weak memory and I soon learnt it was better to tell the truth and take my punishment instead of adding a second lie to the first one because I couldn’t keep the ‘facts’ straight.

As a mom now, I’ve tried to teach my son it’s always better to tell the truth because if and when I find out he’s telling me lies … well, let’s just say it’s not pretty.  Oh the stories! Being a parent is not easy and the things your children may tell you under pressure are absolutely mind-boggling.

Maybe that’s why I loved this video. I think the mom was awesome in the way she handled this situation (a bit radical, but still awesome). I gave her 5 stars for bravery, creativity and succeeding in making her point aka unforgettable 🙂
